“Jesus Is Risen & the Spirit Is Given to Empower His People Today”

FOCUS

Like shock waves from an explosion, the resurrection of Jesus Christ sent life waves throughout the earth that continue to impact people today. The epicenter of Jerusalem remains an awesome attraction to believers all over the world.

When Jesus left His previously sealed tomb in His now resurrected body, it opened the door for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon His disciples. He continues to call His disciples to continually be filled with the Holy Spirit.

As we join multiplied millions of believers all over the world today who are celebrating the resurrection of Jesus, may God’s purpose for us today concerning Him & it be fulfilled in ways we’ve not yet known. May we be filled with power from on high here below just as He desires & intends.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ …

1. elevates the experience & expression of the gift of eternal life.

Eternal life expresses itself through the lives of those who have it.

(Matthew 27:57-66 & 28:1-14) John 17:3 Romans 6:23 & 8:11 / 2 Timothy 1:9-10

2. finds its fulfillment in & through those filled with the Holy Spirit.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit is God’s desire for His each of His children.

Luke 24:45-49 & Acts 1:4-5 & 2:1-4 / Ephesians 1:18-20 & 5:18

Making It Real

1] Can you see that Jesus’ resurrection it what validates the gift of eternal life?

2] Are you living the Spirit-filled life God intends for & through you?

Action Step

Ask & believe God for the power that raised Jesus from the dead to be

given to & displayed through you in an ever-increasing & life-giving way.
